VARIETY
The daffodil and rose
they differ so;
the desert never sees the sea;
the steadfast rock is hard,
brushed by waving grass;
and new green shoots of Spring
contrast decaying leaves of Fall;
some skin is created pink
and some created brown.
God loves these all.
He provides Variety.
We tend to opt propriety —
which, when full blown,
then becomes “society.”
