SKYSCAPES

Skyscapes, from my hospital window
fringed with tree tops
change their colors and shapes;
bring delight to eyes,
and stir a sleepy heart.

Even skillful painters
cannot ply their art
enough to mirror this.
But they are brave to try
and we are glad they do.
